The Dimension R.R.

Many years passed, and a group of agents who stopped evil supervillains from trying to take over the world lived in a big city called a megacity. They were called the Spy Squad. Inside their headquarters, they were working when suddenly, the alarm went off.

“What is happening in Mega City?” howled Agent Howler.

Agent Emerald started to type feverishly, then yelled, “Roramping is on the north side of Mega City! He is making something huge!”

“Everyone, get into the S.P.Y. van, and we're going to stop Roramping from destroying Mega City,” shouted Howler.

Meanwhile, near the edge of the city on the north side...

“Wa ha ha, the Dimension R.R. is working! It will bring something from another dimension, and when I have an army, I’ll take over the world!” explained Roramping.

“Boss, something is coming out,” yelped Zeve.

All of a sudden, a creature came tumbling out. He looked like a fox with clothes. Additionally, he looked very similar to Zeve. Zeve and Roramping were surprised when the Spy Squad arrived with gadgets in their hands.

“It’s over, Roramping. We will stop you and your evil plan,” shouted Agent Emerald.

“Zeve, attack them!” Roramping screamed.

“Everyone, get ready! Agent Rookie, Agent Amethyst, you know what to do,” said Agent Howler.

Agent Rookie nodded, and then they ran toward Zeve. Agent Amethyst started shooting at Zeve, and while she was distracting him, Agent Rookie ran to the Dimension R.R. and began trying to shut it down. Zeve raced toward Agent Amethyst, shooting straight at her.

“You’ll never beat my boss and me. As you can see, I have been working on this machine for two years. It controls time travel and also transports items from another dimension. There is nothing you can do,” said Zeve.

“I wish you were right, but you are missing a few things,” said Agent Amethyst.

“Oh, really? You think I’m missing something? What am I missing?” he said.

“You are missing him,” said Amethyst. She pointed at Agent Rookie, and he waved hello to Zeve. Then, he planted a little bomb on the machine and jumped off.

“No, no!” yelled Zeve. He sprinted toward his machine, but then he felt someone kick him on his side, and he tumbled away from it. He slowly looked up and saw Agent Lazuli.

“Hello, Zeve, nice to see you,” she said.

Then, all of a sudden, the bomb exploded in the machine. Pieces of Zeve’s machine came raining down.

“Argh! You destroyed my machine. You will pay for that,” said Zeve.

“We must pay for that, but it must cost a million dollars!” said Lazuli.

“Um, I don’t think he meant it literally,” said Rookie.

Meanwhile, with Howler...

“Hey, Roramping, we already destroyed your doomsday machine. Looks like we won again,” she said. She did a front kick toward Roramping. He dodged the blow and then returned a blow toward her.

“Don’t get too excited yet. I have already won, and you don’t know about it. By the time you find out, it will be too late,” he explained.

“Oh yeah? You are wrong. We will stop you and your plan,” shouted Howler. She grabbed her kung fu stick and unleashed several moves toward Roramping.

Suddenly, an orange blur flew in and blocked her hits. It was Zeve! He picked up Roramping and growled, “See you later, Howler—or maybe not! This will be our last battle with you and your team.” He flew away.

Then she saw her team run toward her.

“Sis, did you see that explosion? It was amazing! Rookie managed to get some information from the machine's computer,” said Amethyst.

“Can we see what this is all about? Why did Roramping make this machine, and what is it for?” asked Agent Emerald.

Rookie inserted his flash drive into his high-tech iPad and loaded the information. “There we go, here's what it says. This machine we destroyed is called the Dimension R.R. It takes things from another dimension. Roramping built this to get an army from another dimension. So far, it says nothing got out... wait a sec,” he said. He quickly typed something and whispered, “Actually, a few got out; the machine doesn’t know how many got out.”

“Wait, what? Something got out?!!” exclaimed Howler.

“Yeah, they did,” Rookie let out a nervous chuckle.

Suddenly, Emerald shouted, “Guys, look!” She pointed at a huge piece of the destroyed machine.

Suddenly, they saw a flash of orange, and then it disappeared behind a building. The team quietly ran to the corner and slowly glanced behind the building. A little fox was looking around.

“Aww. It's just a little fox,” said Amethyst.

Then the fox stood up and walked on its hind legs. Then they noticed that the fox had feathers on its furry arms.

“Wow!” exclaimed Amethyst.

The creature turned its head toward them, its yellow eyes staring straight at Amethyst. Then it transformed into a giant orange falcon and flew straight toward them. The team ducked.

“Whoa! That was close. Wait, where is Agent Amethyst?” asked Rookie.

“I don’t know,” said Howler.

“There!” screamed Lazuli. She pointed at the giant falcon. In its talons was Amethyst.

“We have to help her,” said Emerald.

“Okay, everyone, load up into the S.P.Y. van. We are going to rescue her.”

Meanwhile, in the giant falcon's talons, Amethyst struggled to get loose. The giant falcon had swooped down and grabbed her with its sharp talons. She felt the sharp claws wrapped around her, and she heard the giant falcon’s wings beat against the air. Now, she could see skyscrapers and tall buildings high in the air. She wondered if her team had noticed that she was gone.

“Hey, let me go, you big meanie!” She tried to kick him.

Suddenly, the giant falcon swooped down onto a tall building. He transformed back into a fox. Amethyst landed roughly onto the rooftop. She groaned and tried to stand up when the fox grabbed her. She quickly turned and faced him.

“Who are you? Where am I? Speak up! Or you will feel my claws or talons,” the walking fox yelled.

Amethyst was so surprised that she fell backward. She felt a furry paw on her forehead.

“Speak! Where am I?”

“Stop, don’t touch her!” shouted Rookie. The team raced toward them.

The fox growled at them, and as he did, Amethyst spun around and knocked him down. She quickly raced toward her team. The fox slowly got up.

“I just want to get back home and find my friends,” he whispered.

“Hey, we are here to help you; you don’t have to force us. Who are you?” said Howler.

“My name is Windy, and I am sorry. I didn’t want to do it, but I didn’t know what to do,” said Windy.

“Can you tell us what happened and who these friends are that you are talking about?” asked Emerald.

“OK, I live on a planet called Tiere Leben. My friends and I were playing a game called Balle Pieds when a portal appeared out of nowhere. We tried to get away, but the portal sucked us in. When we were inside the portal, we tried to stay together, but each of us ended up in a different portal. And I wound up here in this strange place. And then I met you,” he pointed at Amethyst, “and you know the rest. My friends' names are Ocean, Chem, Rofox, Peety, and Kalmer.”

“So there are six of you, and you say that you and your friends each went into different portals and you arrived here in Mega City. I guess that your friends each went to different places on Earth,” said Rookie.

“So that's where I am. Do you think that you can find out where they are?” asked Windy.

“That might be a little bit tricky, but I can try using this information I got from the Dimension R.R.,” answered Rookie.

“One sec, what is the Dimension R.R.?” asked Windy.

“It is the device that brought you here,” explained Howler.

“OK, I guess that explains it,” said Windy. “How did you turn into a falcon?” Lazuli asked.

“Magic. That is the reason that we can talk and I can turn into a falcon—there is magic in Tiere Leben. Almost every fox there has magic,” said Windy.

“Cool,” said Lazuli.

An hour later...

“Windy, I finally tracked down your friends' energy signals. One of them is in the Sea of Cortez near Mexico. Another one is in China near a chemistry company called ChemChina. The third is in South Korea near a famous mountain called Seoraksan. The fourth is in Australia, near a wildlife center called W.R.C., and the last one is in Canada near a wolf wildlife center called W.C.C.,” said Rookie.

“OK, so here is the plan: Agent Emerald will take Agent Amethyst and our friend to South Korea and China. At the same time, Agent Lazuli and Agent Rookie will go with me to Mexico and Canada, and we will meet again in Australia,” explained Howler.

“Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!”

Meanwhile, in Roramping's headquarters...

“What a pain in my back! That Spy Squad should be called the pesty squad. I can’t believe they destroyed the Dimension R.R. machine into a thousand pieces,” grumbled Roramping.

“Not only that, but I accidentally got one number wrong in my calculations. It's only a matter of time before the creatures' planet and Earth collide, and time comes to a stop,” mumbled Zeve, working on something.

“You what!” exclaimed Roramping.

“Not to worry, I’m trying to solve the problem. I might have a solution, but I will need your permission to do it,” said Zeve.

“Fine, do as you please, but don’t get caught,” mumbled Roramping.

Zeve hopped into a flying machine (because he sometimes got tired of flying on his own tails) called the T.B.G. (short for The Blazing Glory) and flew into the air. In his mind, he planned to follow the Spy Squad and try to capture the mysterious creature he saw tumbling out.
