Our covenant

Community Standards

Story Thread is a home for Christian writers and the readers who love their work. Every author agrees to keep their stories, updates and images fit for this community.

Authors will not upload

• Explicit writing or images of any kind
• Sexual content
• Graphic gore
• Graphic violence

Stories can still deal with hard things like conflict, loss and danger, as long as they're handled without graphic detail.

Human writing and AI

Everything on Story Thread is written by people. AI may not generate stories, ideas, sentences or characters. Authors may use AI to check spelling and grammar, or to smooth the flow and style of their own words — and they say so when they publish, so readers see a small badge. Authors confirm this every time they publish or update a post.

Authors agree to these standards when they sign up, and again when they create their author space. Spaces that break them may be removed.
